The December data on the German Producer Price Index are due at 09:00 (GMT+2). It is one of the most important indicators of inflation. It measures the change in prices of goods sold by manufacturers at the wholesale level. It is expected that on an annualized basis, the value will correct from the current 28.2% to 20.8%, and on a monthly basis it will slow down the negative dynamics from -3.9% to -1.2%, which may contribute to the downward dynamics of the euro quotes.
