At 23:45 (GMT+2), New Zealand data on the Consumer Price Index for the fourth quarter of 2022 will be released. It is the main indicator of the country's inflation rate, which determines the change in the level of retail prices for a certain "basket" of goods and services: food, transport, utilities spending, healthcare etc. It is expected that on an annualized basis, the value will decrease from 7.2% to 7.1%, and on a quarterly basis it may fall from 2.2% to 1.3%. If the forecast proves to be true, it may render support to New Zealand currency.
